Santenay BIO "En Charron"2019
Our red Santenay, grown at the foot of the 12th century Romanesque church of St Jean de Narosse and made from the PINOT NOIR grape variety, has a dark color with purple highlights. It has a nose of beautiful intensity of jammy black fruits reminiscent of summer tarts. Spicy notes, particularly clove, enhance the whole. Its mouth is ample and generous, very sunny, largely oriented towards the fruit for an appetizing finish. The tannins are velvety. It will easily keep for 5 to 10 years.

Gastronomy / Sommelier's advice
- It is paired with slow-cooked dishes such as veal and braised beef, whose tannins will structure the palate without being aggressive.
Asian-style lacquered and caramelized poultry as well as lovers of homemade hamburgers will be happy to welcome it to the table for its meaty texture.
It will be at ease with poultry paupiettes, coq au vin, eggs in meurette, grilled meats, grilled lamb chops, stuffed cabbage, pork ribs with lentils.
He will surprise you with a fillet of veal with mild curry, a leg of lamb, a duck Parmentier, quail with honey and cherries or a slice of duck breast with morello cherries.
As for cheese, choose soft and creamy cheeses: brie, camembert, brillat-savarin, fresh soumaintrain, etc.

REVIEW OF VERT DE VIN MAGAZINE
The nose is fruity, racy and offers elegance, a certain richness and a little stretched side. We find notes of crushed blackberry, raspberry and more slightly of
pulpy/fleshy plum associated with touches of blueberry, tonka bean, morello cherry/crushed red fruits as well as fine hints of racy minerality, a discreet hint of star anise and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy frame, delicacy, a nice fleshy/juicy fruit as well as good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cherry, blueberry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of crushed raspberry as well as hints of toasted/vanilla.
Good length. The tannins are precise and very discreetly powdery.
